Kevin Scott Wolters

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin Scott Wolters, who was born on January 29, 1959, and passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 66.

Kevin shared 27 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Lydia Acosta Ezzell. Together they built a life full of laughter, music, and companionship. Over the past seven years, they made homes in Las Vegas, Nevada; Richland, Washington; and Bluffdale, Utah, each place filled with memories of love, family, and new adventures.

He leaves behind his stepdaughter, Barbara Scott, and his cherished step-grandchildren Nathaniel Nahquaddy, Brittny Webb, and Courtney Slaughter.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Rodrick Wolters and Donna Cairns, and his stepmother Donna Wolters. He was also predeceased by his brother Douglas Wolters and his sister Linda Klecha. He is survived by his brothers Dwight Wolters (wife Valerie) and Jeffery Wolters (wife Glenna), and by his sisters Kathy Thomas and Roxanne Keys (husband James). His beloved pugs, Bogart and Lola, were constant companions and brought him immeasurable joy.

Kevin had a gift for turning ordinary moments into laughter, often quoting one of his favorite lines: "I like bananas, 'cause they got no bone." His humor was as steady as his love-simple, honest, and unshakable. Music, woodworking, classic cars, and long walks by the river or through the mountains were some of the passions that shaped his days, but his greatest love was always reserved for his family.

He will be remembered for his playful wit, his warm heart, and the way he made every gathering brighter. Kevin's life was a song of resilience, kindness, and joy-one that will echo on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an animal rescue organization in your area, honoring Kevin's love for animals and his two treasured pugs.
