Kier Kastler Obituary
Kier had great creativity at home and at school. Great toy battles raged in the living room, and stories of zombies were part of school discussion. He was a second grade student at James McPherson Elementary School. He participated in so many activities and studies with friends and teachers. I'd list favorites, but he enjoyed them all.
Daily interests at home included Youtube videos, Minecraft and more recently Five Nights at Freddy's. Kier was an avid movie goer and liked to catch all the new ones on the big screen. Don't forget to get the popcorn and water! At home, he had to have ice cream every night after dinner. Every night!
Kier loved Captain America, wearing his fireman uniform and dressing up for Halloween.
Christmas was a big deal for Kier. The whole holiday season made him so happy with the Christmas lights, Elf on a Shelf, the Christmas tree and decorating with ornaments that were "his".
Jiujitsu was a new outlet that Kier enjoyed and his confidence blossomed. Every day in his lunch box he had to have a note from Mom on an art postcard. His all-time favorite was from Van Gogh. He took Madame Roulin Rocking The Cradle and turned her into a JiuJitsu master since her black outfit reminded him of class.
Kier was thoughtful, kind, generous, protective and playful. He had a great attention to detail, especially in his art work and writing. He loved playing with friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Me and kier were the best of friends and his death hurt me the most and he really got me out of bad situations he once stopped a fight with me and this one student. Quinn just told me about what happened. It has been a while but, from what I read here, you did a pretty good job raising a pretty cool young man, Linda!
I would like to think that something good can come out of everything that happens that God has a reason even in tragedy. May God, with the support of friends and family, help you find that good. It has to be there somewhere. It may just take your heart a long time to find it. May you find it and have the perseverance, and faith, to keep looking until you do!

Recently, Kier left an impression on me that delighted me beyond belief. He was running back and forth between paintings at an art opening and grabbing me by the hand to see his favorite pieces. I really saw a future artist in him, an eagerness to discover life, and such joy. I will miss him deeply!
