June 12, 1957 - December 21, 2012
With heavy hearts the family of Kim Archibald-Keewatin (Standing up ThunderBird Woman) announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, kokum, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, foster parent and friend to many. Kim was predeceased by her son Jason in infancy and grandson Dante as well as mother-in-law and father-in-law Nora and Harvey Keewatin. Kim is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Ron Keewatin; Her children Michael, SongGirl (Will), Dakota (Melissa), Cody (John Henry), Dakota-Joe, Jason, Kristern, Sherain and Alyssa; Parents Alton and Madora Archibald; Sister Bonny(Danny); Brother Clifford. Kim is survived by many aunts, uncles, sisters-in- law, cousins and grandchildren. Traditional wake will be held at Peepeekisis Pesakastew School at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26 with Funeral Services on Thursday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. Elders and Betty Lou Skogen to officate. Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt (682-1622).

Kim and Ron, Ron and Kim: You can't think of one without the other. Together, they were the ultimate "mama bear," always, always tending to their precious cubs. They have taught me a lot, for which I am grateful.
