Oh Vena I'm so sorry! I especially remember when he played an ancient piece of music that used 4ths as a consonant interval instead of 3rds or 5ths to help me with an assignment for a music theory class I was taking. He was very puzzled because it was so unfamiliar to his ear. It had been for me too, but we'd listened to examples in class. I assured him that it was what we'd been listening to and it had sounded weird to me too. He ended up playing it perfectly and it helped me immensely.
I'm still very grateful to him for that and for the amazing work he did working with our neighborhood when building mega houses started becoming the rage. His work researching the history of this neighborhood was so very valuable. His work and his memory will live on forever!
My heart breaks for you, Cliff and your whole family. Love and blessings to you!

I saw Kim´s obituary on the KEEP Yalecrest site. I´m so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed singing in the ward choir where Kim accompanied us. He was very talented at playing the piano and organ. My condolences to your family. Christine Otto Bergeson

My earliest memory is of him playing the organ in the Bonneville Ward. He was great at it and very passionate, which as a pianist I admired.
I later got to know him on Facebook and I continued to be an admirer, especially of his interest and knowledge in SLC places and structures. I will miss him and even his salty remarks about U of U event attendees parking on his street!
Love you Vena and family!

Kim and I were shopping for Halloween Bowling outfits one afternoon. We found a couple of two piece fleece sets that were so perfect it set us into fits of laughter. We got laughing so hard that we had to sit down on the floor. Man, will I miss that guy! May the force be with you. lol

Dear Clifford and Vena... Ken and I are so very sorry for your families loss. Thank you for the touching memory of Kim. He was such an integral part of KEEP Yalecrest. Being a dedicated board member for over a decade, and his thoughtful posts about the homes and the people that (over many generations) have made up our neighborhood, will forever be appreciated and valued. He will be greatly missed. Love and Light to you both and your family ... Ken and Jill Greenwood
