Kim Dodson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mr. Kim Tucker Dodson on September 20, 2025, at his residence in Nashville TN, surrounded by his loving family.
Kim was born on May 11, 1952 to Virginia and Melvin Dodson in Vallejo, California. He was raised in Alexandria, VA prior to relocating to Tennessee. A graduate of The University of Tennessee, Kim spent his career in transportation management at Humboldt Express and Star Transportation.
Kim will forever be remembered for his wonderful heart and generous nature. A unique individual, he saw the good in everyone, loved his hard rock music, watching F1 races. He was an avid fish aquarium expert, as well as raising birds. Always a steady, calm influence, he will be missed with much love.
Kim was predeceased by his parents and stepson, Chadwick Preston Pardue. He is survived by his wife, Mary Elaine, stepson, Jeremy Brent Pardue (Abby), grandsons, Colby Jayce Pardue and Chadwick Dylan Pardue (Riley) and furry baby, Gracie.
A private service will be held.
Fly high, Memo! You may be gone from our sight, but your light will always shine in our hearts. We love you forever! Not goodbye, but see ya later when we join you in Paradise!

Kim was loved in life and he will be greatly missed in death. Kim had many interests but his family was always hos highest priority. Kim had a good soul and we are all fortunate to have known him. Go with God brother.
