I met Kim at Mac in 1978. We were roommates during the summer of 1979 in a St. Paul house with several other women. Kim was so friendly and kind. She would make brownies and we would eat them warm with vanilla ice cream while talking. I will make some in her honor.

I was a grad student at Cornell when Kim was there. I was not in French, but I took classes along with her and we were part of a gang of friends. She was just one of the nicest people there, always good to be with, upbeat, clever a great person to know and be with.

Kim was our RA at Mac in 1977-78. She became our friend for life. Here is a picture of a road trip to Superior's North Shore in early 1978. She made a difference, quietly, in countless lives.

Kim was one of my RAs 46 years ago when I was a freshman at Mac. Although we only had one class together I remember her very well and am saddened by her passing.
