Esequiel Mares Jr.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Esequiel Mares JR. (Born on July7, 1959). After a lengthy illness Esequiel quietly passed away in his sleep on Sunday morning September7,2025. He will be missed greatly by all that knew him he was preceded in death by his parents Esequiel Mares and Eusahia Mares. He is survived by four brothers, Thomas Mares, Ralph Mares (of Albuquerque, NM), John Mares and Michael Mares (of Corona, NM). Two sisters Brigida Chavez (of Rio Rancho, NM) and Geri Acosta (of Amarillo, TX). My brother was a big movie fan. I would Like to share with you his favorite movie quote “The way you walked was thorny, through no fault of your own, but as the rain enters the soil, the river enters the sea, so tears run to predestined end. Your suffering is over Zeke, our brother. Now you will find peace”. (From; “The wolfman” (1941) )
