Dr. and Mrs. Bierman, I am praying for you both and your family. I remember Kim from when I was at BJU in the 1990s! She was a blessing to me and had a wonderful sense of humor! Thank you for raising her to love and serve the Lord Jesus with all her heart !

Dear Dr. and Mrs. Bierman,
Kim was a cheerful, hard-working, enthusiastic believer -- a credit to you as her parents and to our Lord Jesus. We were blessed to know her for many years, and our whole family has happy memories of her. Now we rejoice for her: she's with Christ! And you are in our prayers. We know the Lord will comfort and strengthen your hearts as only He can.

Dear Bierman Family,
I met Kim at a cancer conference in 2012. She took me under her wing and took care of me. We shared so much-- teaching, our health journey, NEH music award and a connection to my home in Lander, WY. I loved her. I love her. I am so sorry for your loss. Kim, I'm sure, is home and happy. She will be missed here on earth.

Dear Bierman Family I was very saddened to hear about Kim. I have fond memories of our time together on the German Team.when she was in the dorms we did some things together. One time we made brownies at her house.

Kim and I were friends through high school and into college. Though we did not keep in touch after college, I always remembered her with appreciation. I'm saddened to hear of her passing but know that she is rejoicing in heaven with her Savior. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.

I never met Kim to my sorrow, but I have Christian friends who knew her. I met her brother online. When he posted one of her last scenes to his F B page and then one of my friends mentioned his sister's name the next day, I began to put things together. To all the family I send my deepest condolences. And I rejoice in the fact that she is with our Savior! I did not know her In this life but will know her In the life to come. What wonderful memories have been shared by folks who knew her! What a delightful woman she must have been. Praise God!

Dr. and Mrs. Bierman, and extended family, please accept our sincerest condolences for your lost. We were friends with Kim in college. Although it has been some time since we have seen her, we have fond memories of those years. We are thankful for her life and envious of her now being our precious Saviour.

I met Kim only once, in the dining common. She told me how she used her bike around campus when she could. When I told her I had known her father when he was still in high school in Phoenix (he was very active in the Youth for Christ Sat. nites with his trumpet). We talked quite a bit. Praying for Bud and Joyce at this time. May God bless and comfort you, Bud and Joyce and the other siblings.

Kim became a friend after the passing of my mother in law and then that same week, the sudden death of my husband Paul. She had been so helpful to the Long family during the time of Mrs. Long's illness and eventual death from Alzheimer's in 2008. I met her during the time of the services and she had made arrangements for us to stay in the guest apartments across the street from BJU. Always thinking of others! After Paul was killed in an accident two days after his mother's funeral, I received several encouraging notes from Kim. We started emailing each other and praying for each other's needs. When I would visit Paul's family, I would always try to see Kim at the same time and discovered we had much in common. I will never forget the great conversations we had. Even though I did not see her that often, I will really miss her presence in my life. Prayers for the whole family!

Miss Bierman was my high school German teacher and forensic coach. She was such a spiritual encouragement to all she met. She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. She loved what she taught and got her students to love it too! She was an amazing woman and will be forever missed!

I was so thrilled when Kimberly moved in down the street from me. I'd been praying for good neighbors, and I knew her from the years when she and I were students at BJA. This is really a shock. I'll miss the chance to be her neighbor here on this earth, but I look forward to finally getting to be her neighbor on the streets of gold.

Kim was in my third grade class in my first year of teaching in 1974 at Bob Jones Elementary School. I did not know her as an adult, but I will always remember her sweet, sparkling personality.

My husband and I both had ms bierman for freshman English. Her first year of teaching. I recently saw her at our 20 yr reunion last November. She was so kind and gracious to me and our daughter. Asking her questions and making her feel comfortable. She even sent me several messages later on to invite us to some of the games. She was always leading and pointing the way to God. A sweet lady who will be greatly missed. Praying for the family for peace and grace.

Kim was a special friend. I enjoyed her visit when I lived in Vienna. When I had surgery on my ankle in Greenville, she was waiting for me when I awoke from the anesthesia. I had no family in town, so she took their place. I was so grateful.
Much love and prayers to the family.

Kim was my roommate for 2 semesters at Bob Jones University from 1985-1986. She was sincere in her devotion to Christianity and endeavored to live Biblical principles daily. My memory of Kim was when she would play poetry spoken Dr Bob Jones Jr in our Nell Sunday dorm room. Her sense of humor was endearing. God Rest Her Soul.

Kim was a very special young lady. Having known her since she was very young, I always admired her. She was an inspiration to me when my brother was dealing with lung cancer and Kim would be in the waiting room with us for my brother's chemo. I'll always be grateful for that encouraging smile! Now God can enjoy that smile as she enjoys His presence!

Despite me being awful at German, eventually dropping out of her class to take another year of Spanish, Miss Bierman was always very kind to everyone. She was definitely one of the good ones and will be missed.

Kim was a dear friend to my husband and me. I was Kim's hall leader the year she stayed in the dorms. She was always smiling, laughing, and encouraging others. She was the kind of friend that you picked up where you left off every time you saw her. We did not get to see her often after college years, except for when our son attended BJU. It was always good to see her smiling face. We will miss seeing her on facebook and whenever we are on campus. We have been praying for the family and will continue to do so. We look forward to the day we will see Kim again in Glory!

I was saddened to hear of the home going of Kim, although I am most comforted when I think of where she is and who she is with and then I can rejoice. She was a good friend, always with a smile and a listening ear. She also had a great impact on the lives of my children and it was wonderful knowing the kind of teacher they had. She will be greatly missed. Our love and prayers are with her family.

Kim was a very special person. Kindness and love absolutley radiated from her. I did not know her well as she was three years behind me in school. But my memories of her are of complete graciousness, sweetness, and a gentle spirit. May God wrap His arms around the Bierman family as they face the difficult days ahead. God's grace is so amazing!

Miss Bierman was my favorite teacher in highschool. I loved taking her German class. She made it fun and easy to learn. But she was more than just a teacher. She was a friend. A godly example for me as a young teenager to look up to. The spiritual lessons she taught me in German class have stuck with me longer than much of the German grammar. She is greatly loved and missed.

I'm so thankful that Kim is seeing the realities of her faith, that she is living with Jesus now. I also thank the Lord for using her as a channel of His grace and love on this earth. I saw His joy in her!

I have been thinking about Kim's Home going---"falling asleep" and then so quickly waking up in Heaven! What a way to go! But the shock of her leaving her family and friends and colleagues and students so quickly is still so new. Our prayers go out to the Bierman family, and to all of us. I considered Kim to be one of my faculty kid sisters, and she will be missed.

February 3, 2016

While Bud was pastoring in NY, he & Joyce came down to visit BJU and Kim, then about 2. They came to our home with Kim several steps ahead. She got to the door, opened it and walked in, and said "hi" with that sweet smile. Kim did have an infectious smile, laughed a lot, and loved the Lord, passionately. To me she was like a daughter as our boy and she & Krista spent a lot of time together as small children. I will miss her terribly, but rejoice to know I will see her again. She is running around in heaven greeting all the fac/st and other friends family, and probably hasn't stopped talking yet. God bless you Bud, Joyce, Krista, Bob and Karin. Our prayers are with you. Precious in the Lord is the death of his saints. Ps 116:15

I appreciate Kim's ministry to my children. They had her as a teacher in children's church at HP. Later, Kim was so helpful to my daughter Ellie one day when Ellie fell and broke her wrist. It was a Saturday on campus, but Kim went into her classroom and got some things to temporarily stabilize her wrist. She told us she had broken her wrist twice. My daughter Susanna had her in speech class at the middle school last year, and it was her favorite class. What an example she was of kind, encouraging and practical help. We will be praying for you in the days ahead.

I first met Ms Bierman when I was in high school, although I didn't have the privilege of taking a class under her. Ms Bierman led one of our girls sports teams. She was an encouraging coach. She would always lend an ear to any student who just needed to talk no matter who they were. After high school anytime our paths happened to cross, she would ask how I was and what I was doing. She was a true blessing. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to meet and get to know this dear godly lady. She will be greatly missed, but is with her Heavenly Father now.

Kim's smile was infectious. She spread joy wherever she was. Her dedication to her students, fellow faculty, and friends was gracious, tender, and heart felt. I thank the Lord that I knew her as my student, friend, and sister in the Lord.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." May the Lord give you grace, mercy, and peace in this time of loss. Kim--the encourager--will be greatly missed. How comforting to know that she is now "...present with the Lord."
