Kimberly Doherty Obituary
Kimberly A. (Zimmerman) Doherty, age 44, died unexpectedly Sunday in Lowell.
She was born in Lowell, June 9, 1976 a daughter of David and Laurel (Solomon) Zimmerman of Belmont, NH and was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School.
Besides her parents she is survived by one daughter, Brittany Doherty of Chelmsford; one son, Joseph Doherty of Chelmsford; one brother, Eric Zimmerman and his wife Jennifer of Billerica; two nieces, Cali and Jessika Zimmerman as well as several Aunts, Uncles, many friends and her beloved dog Recovery.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. relatives and friends respectfully invited. Per current CDC and State Guidelines face coverings will be required and attendees must sign up to attend the Funeral Mass at https://cli.re/ccb-funeral-signup In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lowell House Addiction Treatment & Recovery, 101 Jackson Street, Lowell, MA 01852 Arrangements under the care of the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, Billerica www.sweeneymemorialfh.com

I remember the laughter we generated whenever we would get around the fire at your mom and dad's house in Belmont. Also on joe and Pidge's porch. It is from the bottom of my heart I pray for you and your family to find peace. The first time i met Kim I was struck by her beauty

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Kim. I am grateful for the times we had together at Mallards Landing in NH- she never failed to make me laugh.
