Kimberly Lewis Hicks

I went all the way through school with Kim. She was always bright and tenacious. I remember in fifth grade when she decided to change her name to Courtney for awhile! It is such a blessing to see how well she used her 53 years! I pray for her friends and family who are experiencing such great loss. May you be comforted by sweet memories and the rich legacy she leaves until we who are in Christ are reunited again.

although i did not know Kim personally, she sounds like an amazing person, my own daughter passed on Nov. 8th, 2017 with melanoma, and this obituary just caught my eye and i felt the need to offer my condolences...May God keep you and uplift you in your time of sorrow - V Marks

Kim and I have reconnected every so often over the years and catch up like no time had passed. She has a beautiful family that she fiercely loved. She will be missed.

Ken and I knew Kim from attending Ebenezer United Methodist Church here in Stafford. Recently we got to know her through our small group bible study. Kim will surely be missed by many.

I will always remember her selfless character and her infectious cheering at every game! She cheered for every play, every player and always saw the good. She is missed by all that knew her.

Kim is beautiful - we worked professionally and I was always immediately "raised up" by her smile! More than pleasant she was always present! Listening and contribution were highly at the forefront! Her service to others were deep and at many different levels! She is a winner and always my friend.

It seems like just yesterday, we graduated high school. In reality it's been 35 years! None of your accomplishments came as a surprise to me, nor did the compliments in regards to the person you were. I remember you as a kind friend to all.
