49, passed away on February 28, 2017. Services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church, 210 E. 34th St., with calling from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. There will be additional calling on Friday, March 10 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bluitt and Son Funeral Home. www.bluittandson.com

It really took me for a loop when I got a call and learned that Kim passed away. I had been asking my son had he seen her car all week. because I havent been seeing it, And then I get the call was very sad but I thank God for bringing her into my life as a friend and a good neighbor Heart Neighbor, R.I.P. my friend take your rest I will always remember you.My condolences goes out to the entire family may God give you the strength to carry on!

Kim worked for me from 1988-2014 or so and was a wonderful employee, dedicated, friendly to all and very hard working. I am very sorry for her family's loss at such a young age.

Our heart is heavy with grief as we mourn along with the Melton family. We love each of you dearly and will miss Kim so much. Her smile, her great sense of humor and her loving attitude will not be forgotten.
