Kimberly Cherice Puckett

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, Kimberly "Kim" Cherice Puckett of St. Louis, Missouri, entered her Heavenly home. A devoted follower of Christ, Kim lived a life rooted in faith and love for the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of spiritual guidance and inspiration for her family and all who knew her.

Born on March 24, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, Kim was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas Edwin Puckett and Naomi Lillian Cook (McKissick). From an early age, she demonstrated a deep commitment to her faith and became an active member of Greater House of Prayer, where she worshipped and served throughout her life.

Kim pursued academic excellence with determination, earning an Associate's Degree in Communications as well as Bachelor's degrees in Communication Studies and Criminal Justice. Her professional career spanned 25 years at a large health insurance company where she was known for her dedication and work ethic. Beyond her career, Kim expressed her creativity as a self-published children's book author and found joy in connecting with others as a Mary Kay consultant.

Her unwavering love for the Lord Jesus Christ was evident in every aspect of her life. Kim treasured God's Word and spent countless hours in prayer for her family, friends, and the world around her. Though gentle and humble by nature, she was a spiritual warrior whose prayers undoubtedly left an eternal impact on those she held dear.

Kim is lovingly remembered by her brothers: Thomas Puckett (Mark Sprout), Christopher Puckett, Shawn Cook (Lekisha), Corey Cook; and her sister Tiffany Cook. She shared a special bond with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who brought immense joy to her life. She is also remembered by her dear friend and honorary sister, Debra Smith.

A celebration of Kim's life will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Greater House of Prayer located at 3116 St Vincent Ave., St. Louis, MO 63104. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Lake Charles Park Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

The family gratefully welcomes cards and floral tributes in memory of Kimberly Puckett to be sent to Greater House of Prayer.

Kimberly Cherice Puckett's steadfast faith and loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. May she rest peacefully in the arms of the Savior she so dearly loved.

Kim and I were friends since Jr. College. We shared a lot of laughter and conversations over the years about our careers, aspirations, and how we could please the Lord. She was so kind and would always give me a birthday and Christmas gift. Kim was such a joy, inspiration, go-getter who I will truly miss. Rest for now, Kim, you did well. My condolences to the family.

Quite a lady. She made me smile and her presence always made me feel warmth. She raised the bar in many ways. Her presence on this earth will be felt for a very long time. God bless

This has been very hard to grasp. My beautiful sister made her transition to a higher place. Kim Puckett will always be a part of me. Her spirit will guide me, protect, coach me, teach me, and love as she always did as my big sister.
