Kiran Adhikari Obituary

ADHIKARI-Dr. Kiran C., a well known physician of Regina passed away on 18 April 2005 and was cremated on 19 April 2005. He was born in Assam, India on 30 March 1925. He is survived by his loving wife Geeta, of 52 years; son Bobby and numerous nephews and nieces in India & U.S. In 1957 he migrated to US to pursue post graduate studies at John Hopkins University Baltimore. After his fellowship in Internal Medicine in University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, he set up his practice in Regina in 1966 specializing in renal diseases and cardiology. He pioneered the kidney dialysis and cardiac care programs in Regina. He will be missed by many patients, friends and doctors who trained under him. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of surgical ICU of Regina General Hospital and friends who stood by the family in their days of need. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Renal Dialysis Unit Regina General Hospital c/o Hospitals of Regina Foundation, P.O. Box 1697, Regina, S4P 3Z6. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday May 4, 2005 at Regina Funeral Home, Highway #1 East, Regina
