Kirk VanMeter Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 14, 2025.
Kirk N. "Beeky" VanMeter, 65, passed away July 4, 2025, in Salt Lake City, UT. Born Feb. 26, 1960, in SLC, he lived life boldly, with a heart as big as his voice.

Preceded in death by parents Bill and Renee, stepdad Richard, and sister Kyla. Survived by daughter Amber (Mike), four cherished grandkids, siblings Kara D., Shelly W (Gary), Kelly T, Kory T (Jamie), KC T, Kara J (Peter), Lisa, and Jill.

Kirk was magnetic-funny, fierce, and always ready to help. He could talk to anyone and often did. A Harley rider at heart, he found joy and peace on the open road with friends.

In his final days, he was surrounded by deep love and care from his sister, niece, and girlfriend, who stayed by his side with unwavering devotion.

A Celebration of Life is TBD. We miss you, Beeky. Damn cancer. Ride free.

P.S. We love you, Kirk.

There was not enough time or enough memories made, but I'm so very grateful and thankful that you allowed me to care for you in your most vulnerable moments and spending the last days with you is something I will forever cherish. I love you Uncle Beeky!!

Kirk, you were a good friend with a heart of gold. I will miss our talks and your crazy sense of humor. Where ever you are now, however you choose to be, I wish your soul the peace and love you always gave others. Rest easy my friend... I will miss you dearly.
