It is with great sadness that the family of Kohler Christian Ray Leidl announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013 in Saskatoon at the age of 19 years. Kohler was born on April 10th, 1994 in Saskatoon. He began Kindergarten at St. Angela's Elementary School in Saskatoon and half way through Grade 1 moved to Elizabeth Elementary in Kindersley and then on to Westbury School till the end of Grade 7. In Grade 8, Kohler returned to St. Angela's and then completed his secondary schooling in Saskatoon this past March. Kohler had a passion for video gaming. He enjoyed reading and was enthralled with fictional writing and literature. He loved swimming and it was a great fun-filled activity that he enjoyed with friends and family. His pets were precious and always close by and he was especially fond of his cats! He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his mom who meant everything to him. He looked forward to large family gatherings and relished in playing with his cousins and younger children. He was especially close to his grandparents and always looked forward to enjoying the closeness he felt when he was with them. Leaving to cherish his memory are his mother Kathy Leidl ( John Faubert, Korie ), grandparents Ray and Martha Leidl, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. at The Cathedral of the Holy Family, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon. Interment will be held at St. Paschal's Cemetery in Leipzig. Donations in Kohler's Honour can be made to the Saskatchewan Mental Health Association.
