DUKER, Koos On November 27, 2003, Mr. Koos Duker of Edmonton went to be with his Lord at the age of 67 years. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Annie; his family, Lucille (Lawrence) Terpsma of Neerlandia, Marilyn Tuininga of Jarvie, Hendrick (Akkelene) Duker of Edmonton, Sharon (Arthur) Teitsma of Winnipeg, Robert (Emily) Duker of Edmonton, Charlotte (Dean) Kamminga of Winnipeg; 18 grandchildren, Brittany, Jason, Shane, Rachel, Terrence, Adrienne, Eric, Amber, Adam, Jamie, Amanda, Mikayla, Shaylene, Micah, Destaney, Asia, Summer, Kiana; one brother, Henk (Herma) Duker in The Netherlands; two sisters, Truus (Henk) Miske in The Netherlands, Ina (Menno) Vander Vinne in South Africa. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers in The Netherlands. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Northern Lights Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Immanuel Canadian Reformed Church, 21112 - 35 Avenue. Reverend W.B. Slomp will officiate. Friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Monday, December 1, 2003 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Foster & McGarvey Funeral Chapel, 10008 - 103 Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University Hospital Foundation, c/o Heart and Lung Unit, 1H1.91 WMC, 8440 - 112 Street, Edmonton, T6G 9Z9. Foster & McGarvey Limited Funeral Directors and Licensed Crematorium - 428-6666. Owned & Operated by the McGarvey Family since 1929.
