Kris Hiscock Obituary
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Kris Todd Robert Hiscock. Kris passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Long Term Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, April 19,2023 ,following a brief illness. Kris is survived by his loving friend and wife Krista Gallant ,proud father of Mackenzie ( Josh ), Madison and Marissa, cherished son of Todd and Irene Hiscock, treasured brother of sisters Shawna ( Byron Hutchings ) and Kandas ( Kevin Guy ) and beloved son-in-law of Dick and Cathy Parsons. Uncle Kris to Alexys, Avry, Arielle, Cameron, and Kristan .He also leaves to mourn his Grandad, Robert Hiscock ( Bobby ) as well as aunts, uncles and cousins of the Payne and Hiscock families. Also a numerous circle of friends.
Kris was predeceased by his grandmothers Beaulah Hiscock ( Grand Mom ), Mary Payne ( Nan Mary ) his Pop, Stanley Payne and his best friend Dakota.
To know Kris Hiscock was to love him! He loved to meet people and he could strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved the outdoors,adventure,having fun, and country music. He worked hard. He was a very talented tradesman, nothing he could not build or fix. He was a wonderful friend, father and family man. He was a big Heart and such a huge presence in our lives. We will miss him dearly.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North main Street , Deer Lake on Sunday, April 23rd,2023 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staffs of the Intensive Care and Palliative Care Units for exceptional care, compassion and respect shown to Kris during his illness. By request of the family in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the W.M.R.Hospital Foundation.

I knew Kris from our younger years and he was always so kind and sincere, Kris you will definitely be missed,
There is nothing I can say that will make it any easier, I know. But you all have so many friends and family that will help you through this very sad time, Irene,and Todd, I know personally what it’s like to lose a child , and there is nothing that will ever make you feel whole again, I know but the memories you have will last you forever. We were so very shocked and deeply saddened to hear of kris’ passing. Although we knew kris for only a short time he certainly proved to be a very caring and extremely helpful neighbour. We could see that he was a very busy and hard working man with his own business, however he always had time to help anywhere in the neighbourhood where he might be needed. We will certainly miss his wave and bright smile as he passed our house each day.
Krista, please know that we are holding you and your beautiful girls close to our hearts and covered in our constant prayers for inner strength and God’s gentle comfort during this very difficult time. We are looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks when we arrive home.

It has been a long time since I've seen Kris. But like most of the b'ys I grew up with, he has a special place in my heart.
Kris was always good to me growing up and even though we hadn't been in touch in a long while, the last time I ran into him he started up a conversation like no time had ever past. We just picked up where we left off. Kris had a beautiful big heart and an even bigger personality and will no doubt be missed by many.
