Kris Patrick Jones

SPC/E4 Kris Patrick Jones, 42, Veteran in South Korea, died Friday, November 20, 2009. He was at Camp Hunphreys, Korea, when he passed.

He was born in Waynesboro on July 5, 1967, the son of the late Wilbert and Lucy Beck Jones.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Sandi K. Jones of Hawaii; three sons, Koron Jones, Kian Jones and Jordan Embrey; three daughters, Safria Jones, Alesai Dill and Katoria Harris; two brothers, Wilbert Jones and Michael Dillard; two sisters, Fellecia Jones and Sarah Britt; a best friend, Scott Miller; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Restoration Ministries, 223 Oak Grove Church Road, Waynesboro, conducted by Bishop Elect, Pastor Theodore E. Payne. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery with full military honors.

Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

To Kris' family...I am so sorry for your loss. What a great soul Kris had and was loved by so many. He was a special person in many lives and always stayed true to his heart...RIP, Kris..until we meet again

Kris and I were inseperable when he was in Houston. I think about him all the timeand still can't beleive he's gone! Kris was such a great guy and will be missed so much. My condolences go out to his family and everyone's life that he touch as he did mine.

To Kris's Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I just received the news of his passing a couple of days ago. I am extremely saddened and still shocked by the news of his very unexpected passing. Kris and I have shared a very special friendship for the past 12 years and have shared a great respect and love for each other.
