Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts and prayers. My Mom was one of the best people I know and to know she has gone to heaven to join my brother and her mother hurts, yet she is no longer hurting which she has for so many years. She is now at peace and no longer in pain, and she has touched so many lives in her years on earth. May she rest in peace.

Kris was a very kindhearted soul. All of Besty's friends usually ended up calling her "mom". I suppose that was because of the way she welcomed you, not just into the moment as most do, but into her life, her being! And the warmth that she gave was truly inspirational. I was blessed to have known Kris. She has left her legacy with her daughter, and my dear friend, Betsy. She has taught Betsy well, because she has all of her mothers qualities. I am blessed to have her in my life. My heart goes out to your family.
