Kristal Lynn Carey ACCORD- Kristal Lynn Carey, 36, of U.S. Highway 209, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at her home. She was born in Kingston May 12, 1982 and was a lifelong area resident. Kristal enjoyed hunting, fishing and her Jeep. She loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter Cheyenne and her partner Michael Difiore of Ulster Park. Kristal is survived by her mother Nancy Brown Carey of Tillson, her father James P. Carey Sr. (Hope Thergood) of Rosendale, her daughter Cheyenne Carey of Accord and Cheyenne’s dad David Mickle of Tobyhanna, Pa., two sisters, Jennifer Carey Lake (Derrick) of Tillson, Amber Carey of Rosendale, a brother James P. Carey Jr. of Tillson, maternal grandparents, Patricia Coddington of Accord and Earl Brown of Tillson, paternal grandparents Norton and Wannetta Carey of N.C., several aunts, uncles, and cousins including Roger (RT) McCrory Jr. of Fla. Also survived by several nieces and nephews including Jackson Carey of Tillson. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday Jan. 3, 2019, 4 to 8 p.m. at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Her funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Richard Wright will officiate. Interment will be in Rosendale Plains Cemetery.
