Kristen Lynn Daley quietly and valiantly fought an 18-month battle with an aggressive form of cancer. She faced these challenges with grace, resilience, and an enduring love for life. She was an exceptional daughter, sister, cat mommy, granddaughter, godchild, niece, cousin, aunt and friend. Her spirit and memories of her awe-inspiring strength, laughter, quick wit, and beautiful smile lives on in each one whom she has touched.

Born on October 23, 1982, in Glen Ridge, Kristen grew up and currently resided in Caldwell. She graduated from James Caldwell High School in 2000 and received a BA degree in Public Relations at Quinnipiac University, graduating in 2004.

Throughout her schooling and for many years thereafter, Kristen worked for Starbucks Coffee Company. As a Starbucks partner, Kristen's commitment to providing outstanding customer service, her adept grasp of intricate business operations, and natural talent for coaching and fostering the growth of others, set her apart. Kristen achieved the distinction of becoming one of the youngest Store Managers within the entire company, overseeing her own retail store in West Caldwell.

Using her exemplary skills of tenacity and customer service, Kristen set her sights on a career in healthcare. For the past decade, she served as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Medical Director and the Executive Director of Oncology Service Line at Atlantic Health System. As part of the leadership team, Kristen was intimately involved in many successful projects and was a steadfast and calm presence during its most challenging years. Her strength, commitment and professional skills have left a deep sorrow in the hearts of many. Her care team at Morristown Medical Center would become her second family, including her beloved Lydia Nadeau, Dr. Eric Whitman, Dr. Mohamad Cherry, Dr. Ellen Early, Dr. Mark Widmann, Dr. Lee Starker, Dr. Raunaq Bhatt, Dr. Jane Shovlin, Dr. Anjali Desai, Kristen Lucid, Maryann Morabito, Paula Watkins, Holly Scuralli, Agnes Salamon, and many others who lovingly cared for her throughout her final journey.

Kristen was an avid animal and outdoor lover. Some of her favorite moments were spent with family and friends on the beach and swimming in the ocean at her Nanny and Pop Pop's in LBI, hiking, gardening with her mom, traveling to new places, and crafting. She loved sushi, iced coffee and tiramisu, and having fun. Smart as a whip, she played family game nights to win, and was deeply committed to her cats Fiona and Jasper.

Kristen was the beloved daughter of Sharon (Sellitto) Daley and Thomas A. Daley, loving sister to Thomas J. Daley, dear half-sister to Tad Daley, Morgan Lieberman, and Kevin Daley, cherished granddaughter to Alice Sellitto and Pat Daley, precious goddaughter and niece to Mary Sellitto-Curcio and Harry Daley, treasured niece to Margo Perl, Richard Perl, Michael Curcio, Amy Sellitto, Maureen Daley, Sharon and Don Oliver, much loved cousin to Emily, Mike, Sofia, and Madeline Holden, Michael, Shiri, and Myer Perl, Robert and Katie Perl, Andy Oliver, Matt Oliver, Jamie Oliver, Patrick Daley, Brian Daley, Timmy Daley, dear step-daughter to Karen Daley, and amazing friend to many.

She was predeceased by her adoring Pop-Pop Thomas J. Sellitto, and Grandpa Tom Daley.

Services were privately held.
