It´s been a year and it doesn´t get easier, we just have to learn to accept the tragedy of your passing. Sister, I miss you more than words will ever know how to describe. This time of year is so hard especially because you always made it so special. I know you´re with us and I feel you every day. I want to continue to try to make you proud and bring up memories. We love you and we miss you. Love Brookie

My favorite memory was just her being my teacher. Her and I had moved out to Peyton, Colorado the same year. She was my first teacher at Peyton. I loved how she stood up for me when boys were being boys, she was there for me when I had a rough day, and she was just really caring. I will miss her so much

Love and prayers to the entire Almond family and friends. Kristi's smile, positive attitude, and love of children were evident every time she was around our children (Darwin and Ireland). We are so blessed to have known such a wonderful human being. Our heart breaks for everyone.
With love and prayers,
Lauren and Dennis DeLucas

Kristi was an infectious person. You just couldn´t help but want to spend time with her. She had the amazing ability to make you feel like you were her #1. Her students LOVED her and her co-workers as well. I miss her amazing laugh and that unmistakable Jersey accent. Her kind heart will be dearly missed on this world, you made this world a better and the whole left behind is vast. Thank you for the joy you shined in my life.
