Funeral services for Kristie Dawn Bird will be held on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at 2:00 Pm at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Fox Blackfox, Pastor Jason Gann and Pastor Edward Gourd officiating. Visitation for Kristie will be held on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at Reed-Culver Chapel beginning at noon until 6:00 PM. Interment will be held in Agent Cemetery. Pallbearers for Kristie include Arlis Reese, Leighton Mouse, Sanders Mouse, Sampson Mouse, Eric Cloud, Bradley Mouse, Thomas Mouse, and Jeremy Poafpybitty. Her honorary pallbearers include Chub Cloud, Nathan Cline, Mitchel Cline, and Jory Poafpybitty.

Kristie Dawn Bird was born on February 16th, 1984 in Claremore, OK, the daughter of Grace Mouse and Andrew Bird. She attended Sequoyah School and then set about her career as a busy homemaker and mother. Kristie had a huge heart and took care of everyone. She was the proud mother of her son, Samuel Tyson Maurice Louie, and she was so very proud of hm. She loved time spent in the company of her family and was very close to her sister, Faye Lynn. She was happy to sit around and sing the old Gospel favorites with her mother and grandmother. She was always ready for a trip to the river where she could work on her tan and swim. She may have been all tomboy on the inside, but the rest of Kristie was all collecting jewelry and doing her nails. Her laugh was infectious and she had a hug for everyone. There was no one she wouldn't spent time talking to. Kristie was sweet and the lady always happy to see you. Her mother passed away in 2006, so Kristie stayed with her grandmother, and kept house and spent precious time with her family. She passed from this life on Friday, August 11th, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK, with her family by her side. She was 33 years old. She leaves a void that will never be filled.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Tony Mouse and Sam Bird, as well as her mother, Grace Mouse.

Those left to cherish her memory include her companion, Chotkey "C.J." Haynes of Canada, her son, Tyson Louie of the home, and her sister, Faye Mouse of Tahlequah, OK. She is also survived by her grandmother, Christine Mouse of Tahlequah and Marie Bird of Chewey, OK. Her stepfather, Andrew Bird of Chewey, OK was very near and dear to her. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, Blake McCater and wife Tiffany, Corey McCarter, Jessica Robbins and husband Monty and Martha McCarter all of Tahlequah. There are also many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
