Kris and I go way back to elementary school. She lived next door to Meadow Heights School. I've found a second grade class picture. Kris is on the left

Miss you, Kris! Miss baking with you, laughing and sharing stories about our lives, our families, healthcare and Michigan! I lit candles for you at the big cathedral in Milan, Italy, and place an inscribed tile in your honor in front of the Nordstrom Great Hall Staircase.
Rest well, my friend,
Jennifer

Please take comfort in the fact that God will make you firm and he will make you strong. He will ground you at time time of sorrow. 1 Peter 5:10

Kris was the kindest of friends to me and so many others. She generously shared her light, love, and joy with those whose lives she touched. I will hold her model of friendship, compassion, and love of life in my heart always. She loved her family so much and I learned a lot from her way of being in the world. She will be very missed. Sending much peace and love to John, her children, other family members, and her beloved granddaughter.

I worked with Kris in the Family Planning Clinic of the health dept. She was kind and caring, intelligent and multi-talented. She invited us to her son, Peter's, bar mitzvah, an experience I will treasure. My deepest sympathy to her family. Her children were the light of her life.
