Kristine Leigh Pangburn

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our mother, Kristine Leigh Pangburn. Born on June 15, 1962, in Milwaukee, WI, and born into Eternal life on October 8, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 62. Kristine leaves behind three children-Elizabeth, John, and Payton-as well as two grandchildren and seven siblings.

Mom truly knew how to embrace life. Her achievements were numerous; from building a marine construction business in Sarasota FL, to earning her bachelor's degree in her 50s, she possessed an unwavering spirit and a strong desire to help others. The lives she touched are countless, including our nation's veterans, whose lives she worked tirelessly to improve, as well as family and friends who were the recipients of her immense love.

Kristine loved to travel, and truly experience all that life had to offer. Everywhere and anywhere she went, she made friends and memories. No matter what she was doing or with whom, her goal was to be happy and have fun. She loved the water, and you could always find her at the beach. Her personality was magnetic, and vibrant, even in her final years. She was resilient and strong, and was always proud of her country, and a true American patriot.

She dedicated her life to her children as well, and being a mother was the most important job she had. She loved Jesus, and put great emphasis on being in relationship with the Lord throughout her life. She tried to emulate him in every decision she made, big or small. He was always her guiding light.

We hope to honor her with this obituary, as she had a deep passion for genealogy. It is our wish that future generations of our family will catch a glimpse of the remarkable person she was. The world will never see another like you, Kris Pangburn. May you now know the profound love of our Good Lord Jesus, and find comfort in his eternal embrace.

A funeral will be held at Plymouth Alliance Church in Plymouth, WI, at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9th. We kindly ask that you bring your cherished memories and stories of Kristine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fisher House Foundation.
