Kristine Whitman (Tilton)

Kristine Kay Whitman (Tilton), 69, passed away on December 16, 2024, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford, Texas, after a courageous hard-fought battle with metastatic lung cancer.

"Kiki", as she is affectionately known, will be lovingly remembered by her only daughter, Cindy Glover-Fiore (Scott), as well as her four grandchildren; Jennifer, Amanda, Joshua, and Joseph-and her four great-grandchildren; Emily, Jolie, Landon, and Ezra. She is also survived by her mother, Eleanor Tilton.

Kris was predeceased by her father, Tom Tilton, and her oldest brother, Mark Tilton.

A service to celebrate and honor Kris's life will be held in the new year. Details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.

Born on March 7, 1955, in Omaha, Nebraska, "Krissy" is the beloved daughter of Ellie and Tom Tilton. She grew up in a lively household alongside her three brothers, Mark, Tommy, and Scot. The family later relocated to Irving, Texas, where Kris spent her formative years. After high school Kris worked for 49 years at the same dental practice as a certified dental assistant and office manager. Krissy was always up for a good time, laughing, joking, telling stories, and loved spending her time with family and friends. She enjoyed many interests and hobbies over the years some of which were listening to music, gardening, golf, fishing and competing in cutting horse competitions. Kris was generous with her time, love, and support. With words of encouragement, guidance, comfort, a listening ear, or a swift kick in the ass if needed, she always tried to help grow and prosper those she loved. Whatever life had to offer, she kept a smile on her face and with an optimistic spirit was always looking ahead to a "Brand New Day".
