Kurt SCHMITZ Obituary
Kurt Michael, age 22, of Haskell, on November 30, 2014.
Loving and devoted son of Kurt P. and Yvonne M. Schmitz and amazing older brother of Jessica along with the love of his life Adrianna, slipped away from our world but never from our hearts.
Kurt was a loving, caring, hardworking ambitious young man who only strove towards excellence never stopping until he met his goals. He loved every aspect of life, living it to the fullest in his sports, love of outdoors, but most of all just gathering by the bonfire with all his family and friends was what he cherished most. Kurt was known as the "gentle giant" and his kind words, willingness to help whenever and wherever needed will live on in our hearts forever. Also survived by Grammy, Uncles Michael and David Dishuk, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Craig Roselli, Uncle Gary and Aunt Sue Dishuk, and his all-time favorite Aunt Dorinne Dishuk. Dear cousins Janette, Jenny, Lesley, Craig, Gary, Heather, Melissa and dearly departed Nicole. Never to forget his main men Justin and Brandon.
Visiting Friday 3-9 PM with a prayer service 7:30 PM at St. Francis RC Church 868 Ringwood Ave. Haskell. Funeral Mass Saturday 11 AM also at St. Francis Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to The Kurt Schmitz Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Don Bosco Prep High School. Funeral arrangements by the D'Agostino Funeral Home 881 Ringwood Avenue, Haskell, NJ.

Kurt was a special guy who will be sorely missed. We remember his huge smile and how nice he was on the recruiting visit to Richmond when we first met him. The world is a smaller place in his absence. Our prayers go out to his family. Everyone who knew Kurt was better for it. He will never be forgotten.

Yvonne and Kurt,
The Kellys are crushed to hear the news of Kurt's passing. We cannot begin to image the depth of your sorrow. Kurt was a wonderful young man who was always a joy to be around. He always had a hug for Liz and I on our visits to UR and he was a great roommate, teammate and friend to Evan. We wish we could be there to comfort you all but hopefully we'll have that chance at the Memorial Service planned for Richmond in the future. The entire UR family and Spidernation mourns with your family and friends. We will always keep Kurt's memory in our hearts and your family in our prayers. Thank you God for the gift of our sweet and gentle boy. Our family has been truly blessed to have such an outstanding human being and soul to love and cherish forever. Always love This Family. Kurt was a direct reflection of his mom and dad in everything he did. Jess always a smile and a laugh. Kurt has a special place in my heart for all the time we spent on the Football field.One of the MOST RESPECTFUL YOUNG MEN I HAVE EVER MET.
