A memorial prayer service and committal for Kurt was held at Christ Church Episcopal in Whitefish Bay, WI on Saturday June 24, 2023. He is interred in the church's columbarium. Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at the church followed by a luncheon at Jack Pandl's restaurant nearby.
