Kurtis Nicholas Poulos

Kurtis Nicholas Poulos, age 43, passed away on the 26th of April, 2022 at his home in Greenfield, WI from health complications. Kurt was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin October 10, 1978 to his parents Nicholas George Poulos Jr of Shorewood, Wisconsin and Mary Ellen Poulos (nee Sawall) of Fox Point, Wisconsin. Kurtis was a class of 1997 graduate of the Hill School in Pottsdown, PA and he attended college at Marquette University in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Kurtis was employed in new car sales for Milwaukee area dealerships with a speciality focus in internet sales.

A lifetime fan of Wisconsin professional sports teams, Kurtis was fond of collecting sports memorabilia related to the Milwaukee Brewers & Bucks, and the Green Bay Packers. Kurt also valued highly his familial connections to both his paternal great-grandfather Kurtis Richard Froedtert (1887-1951) and his maternal step-grandfather U.S. Senator E. William Proxmire (1915-2005). Kurtis was most proud of his Milwaukee roots and celebrated the respective legacies and contributions made in business and politics by both men. These connections to the heritage of the City of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin were a source of constant inspiration for him.

Kurtis is preceded in death by his step-mother, Cynthia Poulos (nee Remus) and is survived by both of his parents; his brother Nicholas and his daughter Wednesday; his step-mother Lora Poulos (nee Huettenrauch) and her daughters Isabella, Gabriella, & Annabella Poulos; his step-brother Jason L. Antonic and his sons Jason, Joshua, Jordan & Jackson Antonic; and his beloved dog, Clifford.

Kurt will be missed by his family, many friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched. A small private memorial will be heId by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kurtis' name to either Parkinson's Foundation or rainn.org.
