Kyle Fair Obituary
Kyle was predeceased by grandparents, William Fair, Glenice Sampson, Charles Taylor and Evelyn Taylor; father, Kurt Fair; and uncles, Dean and Scott Fair.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Marcia Fair of Sebec; his brother, Kasey Fair and Kasey's wife, Amy, of Palmyra; nieces, Kinley and Klark; his partner, Blake Hayes of Portland; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Kyle's adventures took him climbing up mountains (by foot or bike), cruising across Casco Bay (though never getting his hair wet), swimming across Sebec Lake (with endless antics at camp), exploring New England's food and beverage scene (but "no fish"), soaking up the sun on Ogunquit Beach (and almost always winning at cribbage), and debating the day's issues (and winning that too).
When he wasn't climbing bridges, spiking volleyballs, or sweating at the gym, he was perfecting the art of thoughtful gift-giving, devoting time to friends and family, and becoming the best uncle ever.
Kyle's generous nature and compassion for others inspired him to support a number of philanthropic organizations, including volunteering at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine.
He was matched only for his stubbornness - and deep capacity to love - by his faithful (and also grey-haired) companion, Izzy the Weimaraner.
Friends may call at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, May 4, from 1-3 p.m., followed by a graveside memorial service at the Dover Cemetery on Vaughn Street. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
A celebration of Kyle's life will be held for family and friends at Grace, 15 Chestnut St., Portland, on Saturday, May 18, at 4 p.m.

It's always so hard to say goodbye to anyone, let alone someone so young and unexpected. I had once briefly met Kyle in passing while he was walking with Blake, but from stories and pictures shared through the radio and social media, he had instantly become someone I just felt like I knew. The love between he and Blake is/was undeniable. I pray, and am so heartbroken for all his family, friends and Blake. May God bless and provide you with strength and comfort through this most difficult time as you adjust to continue on this journey of life with such a tremendous loss as Kyle.

I look forward to hearing Blake and Eva in the morning...I think Blake is an absolute riot...he makes me laugh all the way to work! I was so devastated this morning for Blake losing Kyle...that is so sad. To Blake and Kyle's immediate family and friends my deepest sympathies may your memories of Kyle bring you peace and comfort during this most difficult time. Blake we miss hearing you in the morning.

My prayers go out to Kyle's family and Blake. I didn't know Kyle personally, but listening to Blake share stories on the radio about their relationship, it makes us all feel like we knew him. ...or the pictures on Instagram that showed the love in each other's eyes for one another! He's in good hands now. Heaven just received another angel.

I don't know Kyle, but I feel like I do from listening to Blake and Eva in the morning. My heart has been broken Blake and Kyles family since I heard the news. Though I didn't know Kyle personally I heard so much about him through his partner, Blake Hayes on Coast 93.1 FM. He sounds like was a very special person and will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
