Kyle Preist Tezak, 25, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born September 4, 1997, in Traverse City, the son of Dennis Tezak and Patricia (Beckhorn) Tezak.
Kyle was a trained automotive mechanic who loved fixing cars and fishing. He will be remembered for his big heart. There was no end to the amount of love he could give and support he could offer to friends and family in need. More than anything, Kyle loved his baby son, Ronan; he was becoming a better man for him. Despite facing numerous struggles in his own life, Kyle remained a proud father and a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who never gave up on any of them.
Kyle is survived by: his baby son, Ronan Tezak and Ronan’s mother, Alexa; his father, Dennis (Lynette) Tezak of Tennessee; mother, Tricia Tezak of Traverse City; sister, Holli Tezak of Traverse City; nephews, Malakyi, Jace, and Azric; and his beloved cat, Future.
Kyle was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Leroy and Barbara Tezak; and maternal grandmother, Helen Beckhorn.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah. Private graveside services will take place at the Inland Township Cemetery, in Interlochen, at a later date.
The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements.

I met Kyle when I was probably 12 or 13 more than a decade ago on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He had gotten a kill in the game that was really impressive and I added him after this. His gamertag was Blazed Potatoe (spelled exactly if I recall). Man, I really liked Kyle. I haven´t been in touch with him for many years. I am very saddened to hear he has passed. He was a super cool dude. I still remember video calling with him on Skype and looking up to him as he was a bit older than me and he always had this relaxed, cool demeanor about him. He was also never unkind. He is missed and that´s for certain.

We have memories of Kyle and Grant having great fun as boys and young teens riding bikes and playing in the neighborhood together. We are deeply saddened at the news of Kyle's death. We are praying for the Lord to comfort all of you at this terribly difficult time.
