L. MARIE CUDE
She is survived by: daughters Gail M. Petru and husband Harvey of Victoria and Carrie L. Cude of Victoria; sons James W. Cude and wife Alice of Victoria, Andrew Cude and wife Renee of Camden, Ark. and Dennis Cude and wife Cindy of Victoria; sisters Marilyn Pope of N.C. and Judy Patterson and Marla Patterson, both of Alvord; and brothers Vernon, Royce and Donnie Ruddick, all of Alvord, Edward Ruddick of Inez, Everett Ruddick of Victoria, Dale Ruddick of Blythville, Ark. and John Ruddick of Ark. Mrs. Cude was the proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren and great-grand-mother of seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband James H. Cude and sister Myrtle Dulaney.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. today at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Arneckeville, the Rev. Brick Wall officiating.
A memorial service will follow the graveside at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Victory Christian Life Center, the Rev. Brick Wall officiating.
Pallbearers will be James W. Cude, Andrew D. Cude, Dennis O. Cude, Jason W. Cude, Michael J. Cude, Dillon Cude, Jeremy Petru and Brandon Cude.
If one so desires, donations may be made to the Victory Christian Life Building Fund.
All arrangements by Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Victoria, 361-573-4546.

To all who knew and loved my mom:
I loved her dearly and will miss her. She is in Heaven now with her Lord riding her white horse in battle right along with Jesus. That is where she wanted to be. She though me so much in my life and brought Jesus into it.She always prayed for her Megan, Harvey,Jeremy and me. Rest now mom, rest! Love ya MOM.

I would like to express my condolences to all of the Cude family. Marie was like a mother to me and I always will think of her that way. She always treated me like I was part of her family and that meant a great deal to me. She was a wonderful grandmother, and she loved my boys like they were her own. I am very thankful for all she did for them. She will be missed , but I know she is at rest and at peace. I thank God for her and James. I miss them both, but am happy that they are finally together again.
