LAD GREGURICH Lad Gregurich, of Brookfield, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood. He was 95 years old. He was born on August 9, 1918, in Deerbrook, Wisconsin, a son of Thomas and Anna (Martinek) Gregurich. He married Anne Anderson in Antigo, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death in 2011. He worked on the family farm in Deerbrook, and served in WWII in the United States Army, having fought in North Africa and Italy with the Fifth Armored Division . After military service, Mr. Gregurich lived in Chicago, where he worked as a tile installer and established his own business specializing in home remodeling through the greater Chicago area. His wife managed the business which was known as Greg Tile. The business was successful due to Mr. Gregurich 's work ethic, natural honesty and remarkable mechanic ability. In retirement, he remained very active as a handyman, along with a multitude of personal projects. His hobbies included hunting, bowling, being an outdoorsman and inventor. Survivors include two sons, Don Gregurich, Fitchburg, Wisconsin, Edward Gregurich, Auburn, California; two grandchildren, Ryan and Allison Gregurich; a sister, Mildred Somers, Downers Grove. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Brozak; three brothers, George, Milo, and Joseph Gregurich. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home, 1550 Neva Rd., Antigo, WI. Burial will take place in the Town of Neva, WI, Bohemian National Cemetery, where the Antigo Veterans will conduct military rites. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until the time of services at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.bradleyfh.com.
