MURPHY (Stephen) Slievenagark, Knockanillaun, Ballina Stephen's wife Kathleen and his family would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss. Thanks to all those who attended the removal, the funeral Mass, the burial and also those who called to the house to pay their respects, many of whom had travelled long distances. We would like to express our deep appreciation to those who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy and made donations to Mayo-Roscommon Hospice. We offer a special thank you to Fr. Pat Munnelly for all his prayers and words of comfort. Thanks also to Fr. Gerry Gillespie, Fr. A.B. O'Shea and Fr. Liam Reilly for concelebrating a beautiful Mass. Thank you to Ardagh GAA for their guard of honour, the parking stewards, Altar Society, the Community Council and for refreshments provided in the Community Centre. Thank you to Ardagh Choir, the musicians and singers for providing the beautiful music during the funeral. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our wonderful neighbours and all who helped us in any way at this difficult time. Our sincere gratitude to McGowan's Funeral Directors for their professionalism, care and attention to detail and to the gravediggers for preparing Stephen's final resting place. Thanks to Hotel Ballina and The Junction for their hospitality. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Ardagh on Saturday 19th October at 11:00am.
