Lakyn Grende Obituary
Lakyn Rae Grende, 8, the daughter of Travis and Kyleen Grende, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Madison Memorial Hospital following an accident.
Lakyn was born Oct. 15, 2003, in Rexburg. She grew up in St. Anthony and attended Lincoln Elementary School, and at the time of her death was at Henry's Fork Elementary School in Mrs. Grant's second-grade class.
She is survived by her parents and siblings, Travis, Kyleen, Braiden and Shadlee Grende, all of the family home in St. Anthony; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kleinsteiber of Wisconsin, Laverne Cummings and Jerry McCullough of Green Valley, Ariz., and Mr. and Mrs. William E. Wocelka of St. Anthony.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Linda Grende; and great-grandparents, Frank and Anita Kleinsteiber and Marie Wocelka.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in the Twin Groves Second Ward Chapel, 145 E. First North. Friends may call at the church from 11:45 until 12:45 just prior to the services. Burial will be in Wilford Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakyn Grende fund at any Bank of Idaho location.

Dear Ky, Trav, and family,
It´s so hard to believe that it´s been 12 years Lakyn has been gone. it´s weird, but I think about her quite often. Hopefully time has helped with the loss of your special little girl. I love you all, and hope you have found some peace over the years.
