Lana was born May 9, 1952, in Houston, TX and raised in the Spring Branch area. She graduated from Westchester High School (SBISD) and attended Southwest Texas State University. She worked in the oil and gas industry for 40+ years and impacted the many lives of employees and their families relocating stateside and abroad.

She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was beloved by all. Simply put, she loved people and people loved her. Lana never met a stranger. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she could be found at their football and softball games cheering them on. Some of her best memories were made with family and friends at Lake Travis in the Hill Country. Her happy place was on the lake!

Her family would like to thank the MICU Team at Memorial Hermann Memorial City for their exemplary care and especially for Dr. Veral Amin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lana's memory to Be An Angel www.beanangel.org, American Liver Foundation www.liverfoundation.org or Citizens for Animal Protection www.cap4pets.org.

This is so hard to fathom... I´ve known Lana since 1965 when I met the whole Langford family.... I was always over at their house because it was so wonderful and lively... and Lana had so much to do with that... I can still hear her wonderful laugh and her smiling eyes... she will be missed by all that knew and loved her... me being one.....

God truly blessed all who had the honor of having Lana in our lives. So generous, loving, caring and funny. A true inspiration and more than just a friend. She was like a sister. I will forever be grateful for her love and friendship, and I thank God for all the wonderful memories shared. My love and prayers go out to her amazing kids, grandkids whom she loves beyond measure. And, to her sisters, brother and their families. Oh the stories of all the fun times we had together at work and personally. I know your love surrounds us from above now, my sweet sista-friend. We will see each other again someday. I miss you terribly.

Known as "Aunt Lana" to our family. She was always very kind and welcoming. She is well remembered for her love of "all things Christmas." With a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and table spread fit for a king, she hosted the most fun Christmas Eve gatherings. Her passion and kind spirit will be remembered. Much love and prayers going to her family.

When working in the oil industry you always met wonderful people who would do anything for you and Lana was that very Special person who would do anything to help others. She was loved by all her friends and family. Lana was a co-worker and a dear family friend that will be missed but never forgotten.
Heaven has been blessed with another Angel to look down upon us and the family will always have someone to talk with in their prayers.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
God Bless your family!!!!
