Lana Marie Diaz, 35, was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 6, 2022. Lana passed away peacefully from natural causes at her home. Born to James and Maribel Diaz on October 1, 1986 in Bayshore (Suffolk County) NY, she lived in upstate NY most of her life. Lana was raised at eight years old into the loving household of James A. and his wife Donna Diaz. She enjoyed listening to music, going to the movies, eating at restaurants, bowling and frequent trips on Lake George's Minnie Ha Ha. Lana had a wonderful and caring family that received so much joy from her life. Her last family gathering was amazing with fireworks, food and laughter. Lana loved the ocean and visiting SeaWorld Aquarium. Her summers spent at Clover Patch Camp to her were most memorable and fun. Survivors include her parents, James and Donna Diaz; her brothers Jarad Diaz, Aaron Penalver; sisters, Lesley Joy, Lori Crisorio and Karina Penalver. She leaves a legacy of nieces and nephews: Nathanial Indilicato, Julianna Lucey, Lucas Joy, Brayden Linen, Michael "Mikey" Crisorio III, Jasmine Diaz, Brandon McEleven, Micah and Elijah Woodrow. Relatives and friends are cordially invited and may also call on the family Wednesday July 20th 6-8 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 10 AM in the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Tebbano officiating. Committal services with burial will be at the Saratoga National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made in Lana's name to the Clover Patch Camp, 55 Helping Hand Lane, Glenville, NY 12302.
