Lana Hite Ehrlich passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Prairie Estates in Frisco, Texas, where she had resided for the past six years, she was 71 years old. A Memorial service will be at BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME at 2630 W. Liberty Avenue, Dormont, PA on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, beginning at 3:30 p.m., with a celebration of life gathering immediately afterwards from 4 to 5 p.m. Lana was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Robert and Eleanor Hite, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Michael D. Reese of Frisco, Texas, and David Ehrlich of Pittsburgh, PA. Also surviving are two grandsons: Michael D. Reese, Jr. and Andrew Joseph Reese, also of Frisco, Texas. She leaves behind a cousin Karen Price, and her devoted daughter-in-law, Christy Middleton Reese. Lana spent most of her life in the Pittsburgh area. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon, PA. Lana instilled in us the joy of family and tradition. She was a lady of great character and indomitable spirit, and she showed us that a person can inspire others by enduring with dignity. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in honor of Lana to the National Stroke Association, http://stroke.org/tribute or call 1-800-787-6537. Please add or view tributes at:
