Lana Seymour passed away March 12, 2012, peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. Lana was born Nov. 8, 1945, to parents, Eddie and Katy Thompson. She graduated from Chowchilla Union High School Class of 1963. She went on to beauty college in Merced and worked as a hair dresser in Chowchilla for over 40 years. Lana married the love of her life, Glenn Seymour, on March 2, 1969. They had two sons, Lawrence and Steve. Lana was a generous and truly thoughtful person. She loved being around family and friends, especially her grandsons. She had a very adventurous, outgoing personality. She was always up for a trip, Australia and New Zealand being her favorites. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Lana touched many lives. Lana was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Seymour; parents, Eddie and Katy Thompson and a brother, Lonie Thompson, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Seymour and wife, April, stepsons Dimitri and Xavier and son Luke of Fresno; grandson, Michael Gonzalez of Chowchilla; son, Steve Seymour of Palermo, North Dakota. She is also survived by her brother Tom Thompson and wife Stella of Hillsbourgh; three sisters, Sally Talley and husband David of Chowchilla, Linda Sturm and husband Tim of Chowchilla; Penelope Pettigrew and husband John of Redding; mother-in-law, Fern Seymour Crawford of Vici, Oklahoma, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Reverend Bob Upton of Hosanna Worship Center will be officiating.
