Lance Arden Morris

Lance Arden Morris passed away peacefully at home on August 15th 2023, from complications from Type 1 diabetes. Despite his short time with us, Lance lived life to the fullest. He truly found his greatest joy being in the outdoors, especially time spent in Stanley and Missoula, and being surrounded by his family and friends. His weekends were spent discovering new restaurants with friends, watching the Chicago Bears, and hanging out with his niece and nephews who brought him so much joy. To know Lance is to love Lance.

Lance was born on April 12th 1974 and grew up in Boise, Idaho. His childhood was filled with endless camping trips with family, family vacations and competitive traveling soccer games. Lance attended Borah High School, where he made many memories and lifelong friends.

Lance worked with his father for over 15 years at Joslyn & Morris in production, before leaving to use his expertise to help his sister grow her business. He worked alongside his sister for over 10 years. Co-workers, family and friends fondly remember his playful sense of humor and above all his kindness.

Lance is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Florence Pearson, his paternal grandparents, Earl and Helen Morris and his sister, Lori Foster. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Pat Morris, his sister and brother-in-law Lynsey and Jonathan Smith, his brother-in-law Michael Foster and his nieces and nephews, Patricia and Caroline Foster, Lennox, Layton and Landon Smith and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, Lance would have wanted you to enjoy time in the outdoors or eating a favorite meal with family and friends. A celebration of life to honor Lance will be held this Fall.
