Lance Greg NicholsMay 7, 1960 — March 5, 2010Graveside service for Lance Greg Nichols, age 49 of Duncan, will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday March 9, 2010 at the Ninnekah Cemetery in Ninnekah.Lance Greg Nichols was born May 7, 1960 at Del Rio, Texas. He was the son of Glen and Laura (Espinoza) Nichols. He died Friday March 5, 2010 in Oklahoma City. Lance grew up in Texas. He came to Oklahoma in 1989. He had served in the U. S. Army.Lance worked for Halliburton for almost 3 years.He loved spending time with his friends and family making each one of them smile and laugh.His mother Laura Nichols and son Jonathan Ball preceded him in death.Survivors include his father: Glen Nichols and stepmother Carolyn; brother: Larry Nichols; two sisters: Laura Nichols, Lisa Earnest; a brother: Sonny Earnest; a daughter: Veronica Ball; grandchildren: Payton Stehr and Ty Ball; special friend: Debbie Ball; a niece and a nephew: Chance Ramsey and Cheyenne Fleming; Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and many friends.Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, in Ninnekah, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

We have known Lance and the rest of the Nichols family since grade school in Wortham. They were like a second family to me and I have many, many memories. Lance will be surely missed by all and we will never forget him. He was a part of our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. From all of us - Don, Melody, Mike, Sylvana.

I worked with lance for a year and a half. I grew very close to him, he was always lookin out for me. He was as good of a friend as anybody could ask for and made me a far better person in knowing him. I would have been proud to call him family and will always consider him as such. The ripples of his passing will be felt by many people for a very long time, people who have kept and forever will keep him in their hearts and on there minds.
