Laney Dawn Wilson Garey, 29, of Dresden, died Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home.
Born November 25, 1992 in Zanesville, a daughter of Scott and Kim (Bemiller) Wilson and a 2011 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Laney graduated from Zane State College with her Associates degree and worked as a Scheduling Coordinator for AEP. She enjoyed playing softball and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her parents, Scott (Kim) Wilson of Dresden; her son, Waylon Garey; a brother, Deric (Kristen) Wilson of Dresden; a sister, Libby (Andy) Steer of Port Washington, Oh; her twin brother, Dillon Wilson of Worthington; four nephews; two nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends and family may call from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil and Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street, Dresden.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 with Pastor Pamela Lashley officiating.
Laney will be laid to rest at Dresden Cemetery.
