Lanny was born on February 26, 1949 and passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Lanny was a resident of Elgin, Texas at the time of his passing. On May 17, 1970, while serving in the United States Navy during Vietnam from 1968 ' 1972. He was married to Candace Kathleen Roberts. A Memorial Service for Lanny will be conducted at the Elgin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29th at 2:00 PM with the Reverend, Caleb Williams officiating. A Repast, to celebrate Lanny's life, will follow at the New Hope Lutheran Church of McDade, Texas. I knew Lanny from High School. He used to pick me up in his old Ford flatbed. He also worked for my family at Pool Transfer and Storage when he was younger. I know you will all miss him. He was a great guy.
