Dear Honorable Stokes, Keisha and the Stokes family.
Please know that your Beloved Mother was near and dear to my husband and the Judge Stephan Mickle family because you entrusted you beloved Keisha to him and his immediate staff. You were present to many of our life milestones Celebration.
Too, when we visited Jackson for Keisha’s wedding we were treated with grace honor and royalty sealed with the Stokes trademark, exceptional hospitality and extravagant kindness.
I spoke to her on many occasions and I just felt that she made the difference for so many. The love and grace she demonstrated towards her husband and family was unique, contagious and gracious.
Our sincere condolences & prayers are with you.
We grieve with you. We hold dear a special place in our hearts for the Stokes family.
Grace, Peace, Love,
Mrs. (Judge Stephan Mickle) Evelyn Mickle and the Mickle Family

To the Stokes family
Mrs. Stokes was a wonderful sweet spirited woman. If you ever had the opportunity to meet and talk with her, she had an impact on your life. She was a dynamic wife to Mr. Stokes, a loving mother to her children and a super grandmother to her grands. My ties with her go back to the days when her daughters, Keshia and Kenita and nephew, NEB were students at C M & I School. I loved Mrs. Stokes and my heart goes out to the family. May the peace of God be with you all. You are in my prayers ❤

Rita, as I called her when she was a little girl was a very nice and kind person. I was a friend of her sister Joyce and was friends with the entire family. We grew up across the street from each other. I knew Rita when she was a little girl in elementary school and throughout her life. I also remember when She started dating Kenneth. We all grew up on the same street. She was always smart, studious. She will be missed and my prayers are with Kenneth and the family.I pray that God will give them strength and keep His loving arms around them.
