Coach Baird passed on my dad's (Tom Mauro) birthday. They taught together at DeWitt. More importantly, Larry was my coach. I remember that my dad thought I wasn't a great volleyball player because I sat the bench my freshman year. My sophomore year, Coach Baird gave me the chance to play varsity on his team. He also coached me in softball (and gave me advice in basketball)! I am so sorry for your loss.
