Rev. Dr. Larry Cherry

Norfolk - Dr. Larry L. Cherry, 72 of the 2400 block of Early St. was called from labor to reward on July 15, 2014. Dr. Cherry was the pastor of the Mt. Sinai Bapt. Church, College Park, Virginia Beach. He was the son of the late Irene Cherry and predeceased in death by one brother Benny Cherry. He is survived by his brother Amos Cherry (Doris); sister Virginia Sawyer and a host of relatives and friends. Dr. Cherry's celebration of life service will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 19th, First Baptist West Munden, 1541 Lyons Ave., Chesapeake, VA. The family will receive guest on Friday, July 18th from 6-8 pm, Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Chapel. The body will lay in state one hour prior to service.
