The home going celebration for Mr. Larry Neil Freeman, 58, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at Nacogdoches Bible Fellowship with the Minister Karen Christopher officiating and Pastor Keith Ellison giving the eulogy. Mr. Larry Neil Freeman was born September 6, 1954, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Mr. Freeman was the oldest of eight children to Earnest (Jack) and Higerine Freeman. On Saturday, March 9, 2013, Larry departed this life at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Larry is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Earnest Freeman Jr. Grandfather, Mr. Earnest Freeman Sr. and grandmothers, Mrs. Ella Mae Freeman and Mrs. Lottie Harris. Larry was united with the Nacogdoches Bible Fellowship where he attended faithfully until his health began to fail. Larry is survived by, his wife of 36 years, Thelma Freeman; three daughters, Cassandra Moore, Tammy Forney, of Nacogdoches, Texas, LaChele Freeman of Lufkin, Texas; three sons, Larry Freeman of Conroe, Texas. Kendrick Freeman and Minister Terrance Freeman of Tyler, Texas. Larry leaves to cherish his memories five grandchildren, TyQuinton, Trevion, Jaylon, Kaedon, and Amiyah. Mr. Freeman is survived by his mother, Higerine Freeman of Nacogdoches, Texas; three sisters; Beverly Jones and Sandra Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas, Ella Freeman-Faithi of Houston, Texas; four brothers, Earnest Freeman and Derrick Freeman of Nacogdoches, Texas. Stacey Freeman and Ronnie Freeman of Houston, Texas; two aunts; Vernice Pleasant and Lola Matthews of Nacogdoches,Texas; one uncle; John Harris of Virginia; four great-aunts, Cordelia Thompson, Annie Thompson, Mildred Wiseman, Francis Hopkins, all of California; and a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Freeman enjoyed cooking BBQ on any occasion as well as gardening. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 15 at Sid Roberts Funeral Home in Nacogdoches. Visitation with the family will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening. Interment will be Pineflat Cemetery in the Pineflat Community.
