Larry Fricks Obituary
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, in the chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home for Larry Fricks Sr., 67, of Gainesville. The Rev. Eddie McIntyre will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, from 11 a.m. until service time.
A native of Hall County, Mr. Fricks was the son of the late Horace and Maggie Dean Fricks. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents one son, Larry Fricks Jr. and a sister, Hilda LaFountain precede him in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Baker of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Diane Fricks of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, April and Bobby Fowler of Gainesville; sisters, Louise Shoemaker, Geraldine Gibbs, Barbara Bagwell and Sherry Gowen; brother, Gary Fricks; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; ex-wife, Patricia Machie; caretaker and special friend, Patricia Dyer; and several nieces and nephews.

We knew Mr.Fricks from Dialias. My sister-in-law went up there with him. We was sorry to learn of his passing. The family will be in our prayers. May GOD bless all of you. The Elliott Family
