I worked with Larry at the Scotiabank Ellwood Centre where he opened the branch. He was quite a character and I have some crazy memories of him. I saw Larry again when I invited him to the branches 15th anniversary, he graciously came. It was good to see him again. I hope he died peacefully. Larry was good to me during the time we worked together and I will hold on to that.

I worked with Larry at President's Choice Financial. He taught me a lot, and while we hadn't talked a lot in recent years (I think just because we were both busy with other things), I always remembered him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace Larry.

I am so sorry for your loss. Larry was the person who actually hired me to the scotiabank back in 1993 in which I had a 15 year career. We had some ups and downs and butted heads to say the least but we ended up friends. He helped me when I was a single mom and got ripped off by a car dealership. He fought for my right to have it fixed for me and my kids. And told me I had to always fight for myself. Thank you Larry, this advise has been some that I have had to fall back on many times in life. Thank you for stepping in at a time in my life when no on else would. It's funny how life has its twists and turns, as it seems my friend you passed away in the very hospital and the floor in which I am now a nurse. Rest in peace. Celina Boonstra (Reed)
