It's with great sorrow; we announce the passing of Ms. Mary E. Hills, on Monday, December 27, 2021, at New Rochelle Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
Mary's Memorial Service will be held on, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., Smalls Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel.
It will be a Live Stream on Smalls Funeral Home facebook page.
Any flowers or monetary donations should be directed to the funeral home.
Remember the family in prayer during this time of bereavement.
Ms. Mary Eliza Hills was born October 15, 1947, in Ludowici, GA to the late Mr. Norwood Hills Sr. and Mrs. Geneva Hills Shellman Hills.
She departed this life Monday, December 27, 2021, at New Rochelle Hospital in New Rochelle, NY.
 She attended public schools in Evans County and was a graduate in 1967 at Effingham County High School.
 In later years, Liza relocated with her (3) three children from Georgia to Mount Vernon, NY.
Liza was an affectionate caregiver to many it was shown in her work as a bus driver, home health care provider, daycare teacher, and foster parent.
Preceding Liza in death, four sisters and four brothers.
 She leaves to cherish her memories: Very loving and dedicated children;  two daughters: Mrs. Tonja Hills-McClean (Lionel) of Mount Vernon, NY and Diamond Spady of Mount Vernon, NY. Two sons: Christopher Hills of Mount Vernon, NY, and Vencent Hills of Savannah, GA.  Seven grandchildren: Mrs. Michel (Pumpkin) Hills Jones (Lorenzo), Mr. Tariqe McClean (Shavante), Ms. Renee Christopher,  Fuquan Hills, Christian Hills, Izeem Hills (Christian), and Rayquiner Hills, and four great-grandchildren.  One sister, Ms. Ruth Hunter of Savannah, GA, two brothers: Mr. Leverne Hills of Oklahoma and Mr. Moses Hills of Savannah, GA. Three sisters-in-law Mrs. Mattie Hills of Claxton, GA and Mrs. Willie Ann Hills of Meldrim, GA, and Mrs. Roxy Hills of Oklahoma. One brother-in-law, Mr. Jerry Brunson of Virginia.
 A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

I'm so saddened to see this. I've thought about you so many times and  for soo many years and to know you we so close all along.  I was only 13 at the time and remember your beautiful smile and your pretty little laugh. You were so kind to me and such a beautiful woman. Childhood memories I'll hold forever.     Shine bright in Heaven beautiful Angel. ❤
